Welcome to CGR Legend Car Racing

Cooper is 17 years old and has been racing in Legend Cars for about three years.He races with 77 Speed Shop primarily in Georgia but will be participating in televised National events in April, June, July and October. Looking forward to the 2025 season. Cooper will be racing in the Pro division in INEX and also running some dirt late model races. Cooper’s background in racing includes 5 years of asphalt and dirt oval go karting where he won multiple championships racing throughout Florida. Most recently Cooper has been racing INEX U.S. Legend Cars. 

Cooper had an exceptional 2023 season racing Young Lions. In addition to his success at Nationals, finishing 3rd in Winter Nationals and 2nd at Spring Nationals also had multiple podium finishes at Atlanta Motor Speedway Thursday Thunder, winning the 2023 Young Lions Atlanta Motor Speedway Thursday Thunder Championship.

Cooper moved up to Semi Pro for the 2024 season. Winter Nationals racing in Semi-Pro for the first time was challenging with over 35 cars in the class. Cooper qualified top 5 for multiple races,had a podium finish, and led laps. Unfortunately, he was unable to avoid other drivers incidents and had some finishes that didn't represent what he was truly capable of, ending the week 7th in points.  Spring Nationals in Nashville was a great experience, learned a lot about navigating the Semi Pro division. Cooper ended up tied for 4th in overall points out of over 30 drivers. Cooper ended the 2024 season with 7 wins and multiple podium finishes.

Cooper is a junior in high school and maintains a 4.0 GPA while taking AP College level courses and working toward certifications in Engineering. Cooper is committed to success and works hard to ensure he is able to achieve not only his racing goals but also his educational goals.

Cooper comes from a family of firefighters and CGR takes every opportunity to advocate for firefighter causes and charities.
